CC203 - CONCRETE TECHNOLOGY course provides the students with the knowledge and understanding of concrete material and concrete mix design in the construction industries. The course includes conducting laboratory work for concrete testing, preparation, transportation, casting, compaction and treatment of concrete. The construction methods of reinforced, precast and pre-stressed concrete are also included.

Course Learning Outcome (CLO)

1. Describe briefly the concrete material and mixtures. 
2. Participate actively in class discussion in issues related to the importance of concrete technology and the latest products of concrete in the market. 
3. Participate actively in class discussion on issues related to the technological changes in concreting works in reducing environmental pollution concisely. 
4. Propose exactly the selection of concrete mix for different types of concrete structures according to safety design. 
5. Demonstrate positive team working attributes by contributing actively in group concreting works and laboratory tests that yield valid results.
